Friends, we wanted to share information with owners who wish to sell/rent out their property in Turkey.

In July, the Electronic Advertising Verification System (EIDS), created by the Ministry of Commerce, came into force.

 According to this:

 • Verifying the identity of the person who advertises on real estate listing pages.

 • The immovable property that is the subject of the advertisement belongs to the person submitting the advertisement, or to his 2nd and 3rd-degree relatives by blood, or to his/her spouse.

 • Verification that the person placing the advertisement is authorized by the owner of the advertising facility is carried out through the system.

In this regard, the government wants to clear the market of “gray” intermediaries who are irresponsible and do not pay taxes.

In the future, the owner can independently sell his property without involving third parties. Or only with the help of a licensed real estate agency/brokerage company, concluding an agreement.
